I know there are a bunch of smoothies recipe out there, I just want to share my private recipe which my whole family love. The first time I made green smoothies was years a go, before it becoming cool healthy drink *wink, I exploring smoothie land because of health issue I had back then, and doctor suggest me to did certain diet, consuming smoothie was really helping.
Later on, I found out that my kids also loving it so much, so every time I made it, it for the whole family members. During exploring, I learnt that there are certain ingredient that I can’t take and I need to hear what I body need.
In this recipe, it is the first time I used arugula, I always love arugula in salad, and in smoothie, wow, it is so delicious, how to explain, it gave subtle savouriness into the smoothie. I always used banana as my base of smoothie, since I usually having smoothie for breakfast, so I want to make it a bit heavy (breakfast is the highlight of the day for me, so it should be satisfying and fulfilling) and the creaminess? hmm, it is like having milk shake *haha

ARUGULA AND SPINACH GREEN SMOOTHIES
Serve 2 small bowl
INGREDIENT
- 1 frozen over ripe banana
- 1 handfull baby spinach
- 1 handfull arugula
- 1 handfull of frozen pineapple
- 150ml almond milk or any other plant based milk
HOW TO
- Blend all the ingredient together until smoothly combine and creamy
- I eat with my eyes so I decorate my smoothie bowl, always *hehe
