On hot summer day, and classic Indonesian fruit are all in seasoned this are fun way to enjoy fruit, well at least for me. Basically all sour fruit are go for Rujak for us Indonesian. Somehow the sourness are more tolerable when you enjoy it with this sticky spice sauce, well technically I could called it sauce, it is too thick to be called sauces, but nevermind.

It is spicy, bit touch of garlic if you want to and touch of sweetness from chunk of palm sugar. I made it in traditional Indonesian stone pestle and mortar which add some interesting feeling if you enjoy those fruit directly from the stone, for me it gave me nostalgic feeling.
